    Ken joined Montfort Capital in 2021 following the acquisition of Pivot Financial, a private credit company he founded in 2015.

    Ken brings over 20 years of investment and management experience to Montfort. He has built and managed several investment businesses and was a member of the board of directors, audit committee, and independent review committee of a family of TSX-listed investment funds. He currently chairs the board of a Canadian furniture manufacturer and sits on the board of several private companies. In addition, Ken chairs the Independent Review Committee of Educators Financial Group and Hazelview Securities Inc. and is a member of the Independent Review Committees of Algonquin Capital, and Goodwood Inc.  Ken was formerly a director and member of the audit committee of a family of TSX-listed investment funds. 

    Ken holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and has completed the PDO Course with the Investment Funds Institute of Canada.

    Blake joined Montfort Capital in 2022 following the acquisition of Brightpath Capital, a private credit company he co-founded in 2016. Before Brightpath, Blake earned a wealth of experience in financial management, consulting, and merger and acquisition (M&A) strategy across various industries, including telecommunications and software.

    As Chief Capital Officer of Montfort, Blake is responsible for raising investment funds for the group of companies and generating interest in Montfort stock from the investment broker community. He also works closely with the CSO on Montfort’s M&A strategy.

    Blake is a chartered professional accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA in management accounting and finance from McMaster University and a BA in politics and business from Wilfrid Laurier University.

    Josh joined Montfort in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2024.  Josh works with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and plan Montfort’s strategy and provides executive leadership to Montfort’s business units.  He provides day to day oversight to the finance function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to meet Montfort’s public company requirements.  He also oversees the analysis of financial metrics, business planning and efficient treasury management.

    Josh is a chartered professional accountant (CPA), which he acquired while working at Grant Thornton LLP in Victoria, British Columbia.  He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria.  Josh moved to Toronto in 2005, and his previous experience includes many years with Haventree Bank, a private Canadian Schedule I bank specializing in residential mortgage solutions and GIC investments.
